Top 10 Tuesday: Inspirational Quotes

Top 10 Tuesday is hosted by the wonderful ladies over at The Broke and The Bookish.
This week’s topic is…Top Ten Inspiring Quotes from Books.
So, without further ado, here is my list! (In no particular order)

This is one of my favorite Hunger Games quotes.  It reminds me that no matter what, as long as you have hope, you can overcome anything.

This is one of my favorite Daemon Black moments.  Not because it is the sweetest thing he’s probably ever said, but because it’s so true.  This is just a beautiful reminder that applies to every one of us.

In my opinion, Divergent has some of the most inspiring quotes.  This is one of my favorites.  All of us have fear, but what we need to do is control it, to act despite our fear.

Keeping with the theme of my last quote, we have these wise words of Poseidon. This is just an inspiring reminder that even the strongest heroes are not above fear.

This is a beautiful quote about love that just always makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Sarah Dessen’s books always have strong themes and leave you with important questions.  The Truth About Forever is my favorite Sarah Dessen book, and it (and this quote) makes you look at things a little differently and leaves you with something to think about.

This is another one of my favorites from Divergent.  This quote is important because all of these are admirable qualities that are important for people to cultivate.  Tobias is definitely onto something with this one.  Trying to be just one thing is impossible. To be a truly balanced person, we need to strive to display all of these qualities.

This isn't one of John Green's more well-known quotes, but I like it.  Mostly because it's just so true.  Sometimes we all just need to "pull off the band-aid" and quit procrastinating.  Because the end result will be worth it.

My last Divergent quote, I promise!  This is my favorite quote from Divergent because I find it very empowering.  I may not know what my future holds, but like Tris, I want to be ready.

This counts!  It's a book! Sort of.  I couldn't make this list without including the wise words of Yoda.  This is my favorite piece of literary advice ever.  And I try to always remember these words no matter what I am doing.  This is just great advice that all of us can apply and take to heart.

So, there are my Top 10 Inspiring quotes from books!
These are my favorites because I find all of these very relateable, and they all can have direct application to any of us.
I had a blast making this list, and I look forward to many more Top 10 Tuesdays in the future.

    1. Thanks! Daemon is the greatest. Yeah, I feel like not a lot of people have read the Under The Never Sky series, but it's so good!
