Waiting On Wednesday #2

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill of Breaking The Spine that spotlights an upcoming release that you are anticipating.
This week, I’m most anticipating A Court Of Thorns And Roses by Sarah J. Maas.  Sarah J. Maas is one of my favorite authors and I can't wait to read her new series. Everything SJM does is brilliant and I have no doubt that I will love it

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
Publish Date: May 5th 2015
Genres: Fantasy

What is A Court Of Thorns And Roses about?

A thrilling, seductive new series from New York Times bestselling author Sarah J. Maas, blending Beauty and the Beast with faerie lore.

When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world.

As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow grows over the faerie lands, and Feyre must find a way to stop it . . . or doom Tamlin—and his world—forever.

Perfect for fans of Kristin Cashore and George R. R. Martin, this first book in a sexy and action-packed new series is impossible to put down!

Why am I waiting for A Court Of Thorns And Roses?

Sarah J. Maas is brilliant. As stated above, and in my Top 10 authors post, she is one of my favorite authors.  Honestly, Sarah J. Maas can do no wrong in my opinion. She is queen. Her writing is beautiful and poetic and she writes the greatest characters ever. I was originally skeptical, because this is actually New Adult as opposed to YA. And I've never read much anything from the NA genre. However, if it's Sarah J. Maas, I'm willing to try anything. I'm so excited for this one and I have no doubt that it will be brilliant. I mean, a fairytale retelling?  Come on, you know I can’t pass that up.

What are you waiting for?  Are you are Sarah J. Maas fangirl, too?  Have you read ACOTAR yet?
