Basically
it's a fun weekly blog hop where you get to interact with fellow book bloggers,
thus gaining friends and followers. The
directions are as follows: You follow the hosts, Parajunkee and Alison Can
Read. Make a post that answers that week's prompt, and link it up on either one
of the hosts' blogs. Then, go follow and make friends with as many other
participating book bloggers as you'd like.

As
far as following me, Bloglovin or GFC is fine. J (Though I always follow on Bloglovin)
This
week's question is:
Wow. I really don’t want to answer this question.
The
amount of unread books that I have is embarrassing and unacceptable. I have books, yet I just keep buying.
So,
I’m going to cheat.
I
consider my TBR to be every book that I want to read. Not necessarily books that I own.
My
Goodreads TBR is now up to 573. Which is
crazy because I’ll never be able to read all of them because IT JUST KEEPS
GROWING.
But,
out of curiosity (I need to know that I’m not the only one) how many of your
physical TBR’s are almost reaching triple digits? Is that bad?
It that not a lot? Let me know!
Well,
that was overwhelming. I’ll see you guys
again next week!
The TBR is a terrible ever-growing list ;) I actually stopped adding books to my Goodreads TBR list because it just got SOO out of hand--but it's roughly, like, 1.2k books. >.> So now, I just mentally catalogue covers/titles/authors that I want to read, and therefore it's impossible to know how many are now on my list.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, I don't really want to know. :P
So many books!
ReplyDeleteI think it'll be impossible for most of us to ever complete our TBR. There are just so many amazing sounding books released on a weekly basis! It's so hard to keep up. At least we'll never be finished with books! haha.
Wow! Yours is worse than mine, but I definitely know what you mean when you say it's growing out of control! Old follower :)
ReplyDeleteHere's my F&F!
My TBR list keeps growing, too, and at a very unreasonable rate at that. Like you, I keep buying books even though I have TONS here that I haven't even touched yet! Eep. But what's a book lover to do? XD That's why I'm so envious of people who can control their grabby hands!

Hey, thanks for commenting on my blog:) I just started following you:) My TBR is in the triple digits too. You are not alone! I own 245 physical books and 271 on my tbr that I do not own or is not released yet:P
ReplyDeleteYou are not alone in the triple-digit world of TBR lists, my friend! Every time I see a book that interests me I add it to my Goodreads, so I won't forget about it. Although, now that I think about it, I do tend to forget about them since they get lost amongst the pages of books that I want to read.

Have a great day!
My TBR is in the thousands. It's hard to keep the number low when new books keep coming out that I want to read.

I actually gave up on keeping a TBR because it was too difficult. I always keep up with the books being released in the year so it's too difficult for me now.

ReplyDeleteNew Follower! :-)
That is the reason I didn't go by my Goodreads TBR cause I have some on there that I don't own but want to read. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, my actual TBR pile of physical books that I own is well over 300. So don't feel bad! And then I still have a bunch of Kindle books too. I'll never read them all.
ReplyDeleteMy FF!
I think we're all realising we have massive TBRs but I'm sure we'll get them read even if it takes a few years.
ReplyDeleteThanks for following me. I've followed you back via Bloglovin'.

I would like to say that I'm a controlled book buyer. I would LIKE to, but I can't. Out of control book pile, here! New follower via GFC
